Aardman Academy Ident
I was really honoured to have my entry for the Spring Aardman Academy Alumni Challenge selected as “top film”, and chosen to represent the academy as the official ident for 2026. I wanted the ident to represent growth and learning, and so made this animation of a gardener tending to a flower patch, hand crafting each element out of paper. I then composited the elements in After Effects to add the final touches.
The puppet is now being displayed in the 50 years of Aardman exhibition in Bristol alongside 4 other wonderful puppets from other Aardman Academy Alumni.
To Gaza with Love
My contribution to “TO GAZA, WITH LOVE: A Global Anijam” an initiative of Animation Community for Palestine and Joanna Quinn. It was a real honour to take part in this initiative alongside animators from 50 other countries in support of the work of Haneen Koraz and her team in Gaza delivering animation workshops to children.
Season’s Greetings
My submission to the 2024 Aardman Academy Winter Alumni Challenge on the theme “Season’s Greetings”. I also created a short making of video to show the process behind making a zoetrope.
